Vienna Sausages Make You Strong

I am aggravated by the fact that we continually only give poor people the food that we do not want. I’m also annoyed that with foods such as ramen noodles being so cheap that people are dying of starvation.

In the video I mention that you can can donate to TransFM and help them get people to Washington, D.C. to lobby Congress to include disabled and LGBT individuals in a hate crimes bill. I also mention that you can also donate to me, which would be greatly appreciated. If you’d like to do the latter, scroll down to the donation form on the sidebar.

That’s a very thoughtful observation. I’ve often felt bad about the whole “give your junk” to homeless people thing. With clothes and stuff more valuable that can be used or sold on, it probably makes more sense, but with food so cheap, you’re right - why are people starving? You’re right that it would make more sense to donate decent food, if you’re going to go to the effort anyway.

It’s sad how much food is wasted each day too. I hope you are planning to do more videos. I really enjoyed this one. I have to say the best parts were where you were running with the sheet and twirling it around. That was some great cinematography.

When we had to move my Granny to the nursing home a couple months ago, I boxed up all the canned soup, tuna, fruit, vegetables and shit that was in her cupboards, and took it all to the local food bank. It was all good stuff though, I hope it went to someone needy. Oddly, there weren’t any vienna sausages in her cupboards, but there were a couple cans of sardines that I thought about throwing away. But I didn’t. Hopefully, maybe somebody’s cat will eat them.

And yeah, the scene at the end where you were playing with the sheet on the hill? That was really nice. In fact, the whole video really had a nice atmosphere to it. You rawk.
