I'll see if I can make a video out of the process. And thanks for sharing your mpeg settings. I use Quicktime to compress my videos, and I don't know if the overall quality of my finished videos is due to my software settings or if it's just 'cause I don't have a great camera. As far as the compression goes, it varies, but at the moment I am compressing my videos in a fairly high resolution: H.264 QVGA/768kbps Stereo/128kbps. I've been doing higher resolution primarily for personal reasons, if something was to happen to the original clips I'd still have the edited down version at a good quality.
