Baked Dessert Squash
We’ve got a garden this year and it’s been producing really well. We’ve got quite a bit of summer squash, more than we’ll probably ever know what to do with it. I figured why not make a tasty treat with it. This dessert would be absolutely wonderful over some vanilla ice cream. Health nuts, you might not want to watch this one!

I also do another short cooking video in with this video. You’ll find out my reasons for doing this in the video. I hope you enjoy both the squash and the chili.

I am happy you came clean about the burnt chili — the truth shall set you free.
But you are still careless with that knife. . .

Stephen - Hope you’ll enjoy the dessert squash when you make it, just put it on top of some vanilla ice cream, it will be even more enjoyable. I didn’t have any, unfortunately.
The pot of chili that I made in this video was being ate on until the other day. I froze the remainder of it. Nice to be able to pull dinner out of the freezer, nuke it and it be something that you made and it still taste fresh!
Christiaan - I figured if I didn’t tell people I had burnt the chili, you would out me. Knife handling is an artform. Some people have it in their blood, others don’t. Those who don’t are frightened by it.

I didn’t know you could make squash into a dessert, either. And how tall is your tripod, Andy? At its highest setting, I don’t think my tripod can look over my stove like yours does.
