The butterfly photo is very nice. Like you, I've also had thoughts about leaving the U.S. But there is something to be said for staying here and "fighting" for a better country. I really hope that once the Bushies are out of office, things will start to improve. But, who knows how long it may take? In some cases, I think the states will have to be the ones to spearhead change, and then bring it to the rest of the country. There is serious momentum here in California to initiate statewide Universal Healthcare. If it happens, and it's successful, maybe more states will do the same. It's got to start somewhere. They just shoot them off constantly, all the time. Plus they spend way too much money on them. The other thing about them, in my opinion, unless you're going to do a fancy light show, don't even bother because it's not impressive, it's just annoying. Around here they just light them one right after the other. But whatever. I agree with you on staying in this country.
