Fountain of Life
If you’ll recall from “The Drive Home” we drove over a bridge with water underneath. A couple of weekends ago I went back down there and took some video and photos of the river. I’ve finally gotten a video put together from that Sunday drive down to the river. I added some background music and also some of the photos I took. This is my first video I created using Sony Vegas Pro 8. I have been using the trial and like it a lot. Too bad I won’t be able to continue using it since it costs an arm and a leg!
The background music for this video is “Fountain of Life (Lean On It Mix) - DJ Anser” which you can listen to at Magnatune. I am very appreciative of the fact that Magnatune has Creative Commons licenses on their music so I can add legal music to my videos. Thanks, Magnatune.

Pretty video, sorry it’s taken so lobg for me to comment. . I’m at work, so I’ll keep it short, maybe.
My favorite parts of this video were the shots where your shadow was visible. In so many “scenery” videos, I get the impression the photographer/videographer goes to great lengths to remain invisible. For me, it’s all about “being there”, or something. I’m crappy at explaining myself.
Nice though, very nice.

Tim - Well I am glad someone knows how to use the comment form. I wonder if it’s broken for other people? LOL! Or maybe my content sucks? Who knows. Anyways. Thanks for the comment and I apologize for not responding sooner.
I think a lot of photographers/videographers do go to great lengths to remain invisible which is something that I do not do. To be honest, when I am out taking photos or video I never really think about it. I am more concerned with capturing what I see.
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it!
